UCF Recreation and Wellness Center

The equipment is decent for basic workouts unfortunately the staff and their “rules” really kill the vibe here They don’t allow you to have your bags with you because of tripping hazards which is a very niche reason to do that since that can be easily solved by keeping it close to you I don’t want to have to use a locker or risk it getting stolen at least that’s my preference and my friend feels the same way when he got called out by one of the staff for doing that I also had a very bad experience with one of the staff kicked me off the turf since it was reserved for people that were sledding like cmon no one owns a certain area of a gym and they can always work around me or tell me to move I prefer to work on the turf close to where all the equipment is I will continue to workout at this gym since I have limited options but I cannot stand the bossy behavior of the staff!

We were impressed by the variety of equipment available, the openess of the space, the walking/jogging/running loop, the rock climbing wall, and the outdoor pool. All free to UCF students as per our tour guide, which is great.

The facility is super nice. Check in area and policies needs a lot of work! First, it shouldn't take that long.... Second, if you tell one person they can't bring in a drink, you better tell everyone they can't bring in a drink! I had a drink from the Chick-fil-A next door and was told I wasn't allowed to bring it in. The next 10 people, I kid you not, we're all let in with drinks! Same type of drink I had! Not acceptable...

BEST PLACE ON CAMPUS. The rwc is without a doubt the best spot on campus for all of the variety of things they have in there. From working out to playing sports to studying to everything. I play volleyball at the outside beach courts and the quality of the courts are PRISTINE. Amazing place to play beach vb.

The UCF RWC has a pretty good selection of equipment, the indoor running track above the basketball courts is really nice. The smoothie king inside is nice to have, and there are lockers and showers for convenience. They also have alumni memberships which is a plus!
